1. How long has gmc (Gospel Music Channel) been in existence?
   Gospel Music Channel, LLC was formed in April of 2004 and its first launch was October 31, 2004 on Jackson Energy Authority in Jackson, Tenn. In February of 2010, gmc launched its new name and logo, and is now known as gmc – The uplifting entertainment network that features music and inspiring stories the whole family will enjoy.

2. How can I watch gmc in my area?
   gmc can be viewed on various cable and satellite providers in certain areas. Please click here to check our availability in your area.

3. Why is gmc not available on my cable provider? How can I get the channel?
   We would love to be in your area and on your local provider, but we do not make the ultimate decision; the cable and satellite providers do. We are in ongoing negotiations with a variety of providers so that we may be added to their service, but in the meantime there are a number of ways to urge your specific provider to add gmc to their lineup:

   1. When you pay your bill each month, write a note on the bill requesting that they add gmc to their service.
   2. Call or write to your cable’s marketing representatives and let them know that you want the channel.
   3. Click Get the Channel. [top]

4. Why is gmc not available everywhere?
   gmc can be seen in more than 51 million homes on various cable systems around the country, as well as DISH Network on channel 188, DIRECTV on channel 338 and Verizon FiOS on channel 224.

5. Is there a fee to watch gmc?
   gmc does not charge a fee to our viewers. The only fee associated with viewing gmc is your cable or satellite bill to the providers who have included gmc in their channel listing.

6. Is gmc available overseas?
   We are currently only available in the United States, but we expect to be available overseas in the near future.

7. gmc is not included on my cable or satellite provider. How can I watch the channel online?
   Our various contracts and agreements prevent us from airing gmc shows in their entirety on our website. Check out the Videos tab where you can watch some of your favorite gmc music videos and interviews.

8. Who should I contact about a video or audio reception problem?
   Please call the customer service department of your local cable or satellite operator to report reception problems.

9. Are your logos available for general use?
   Please do not use a gmc logo on your personal web pages or printed materials unless you've obtained permission. If you'd like to use our logos to help promote the channel, please send us an email and we'd be happy to help .

    Unfortunately, because of our agreements and contracts with management companies and record labels, we are unable to send you any videos from our collection. However, if you reach out to an artist's manager, publicist, or record label they may be able to assist you.

15. Where can I purchase music by artists seen on your channel?
    You can purchase music right through our website (powered by ChristianBook.com). Just click on Shop from the gold navigation bar. Your local Christian store should also carry the latest Christian and Gospel artists.

16. Why is my favorite artist not listed on your website?
    The artists that appear on our website have music videos that are currently being aired on our television network. Your favorite artists may not be listed for that reason.

    We will try our best to fulfill your request as we continue to work with recording labels and artist management to encourage submission of videos from their artists. Please click here to provide us of the type of music or artists you would like to see more of on gmc.
