Born in a small town of Ukraine called Zvenigorodka, their family immigrated to the United States in 1992 in pursuit of a better life and religious freedom. The band was formed in 2005 by Roman, the oldest of the four brothers and they released their first EP in 2005.

Soon after their EP was released, the band started traveling throughout the Pacific Northwest playing shows, capturing audiences with their melodic guitars and smooth vocals.

In 2007 SONSOFDAY released their full length album entitled Fragile People
The following year, SONSOFDAY took first place at Creation Festival Indie band talent search, and their video "This Place" was voted best Pop Music Video of 2008 on gmc.

SONSOFDAY released their second full length studio album, (Autumn Heart) on 1964 Records, October 12, 2009 and the band continues to travel throughout the country playing concerts and festivals - living their dream.
