Christian athletes have been around since the advent of professional sports, but their presence has been heightened these days thanks to the media attention given to such outspoken individuals as Tim Tebow, Jeremy Lin, Josh Hamilton and Zach Johnson.

So no one should be surprised that there are more and more Olympians joining the active faith movement. This year’s Summer Games in London are no exception. With that in mind, here are seven notable athletes that you can cheer on as they compete for God and country.
