New York, NY – July 30, 2012 – The highly anticipated single from Brandon Camphor & One Way is set for an August 7th release worldwide. Brandon Camphor & One Way is perhaps best known for winning the 2011 Most Powerful Voices competition co-sponsored by GMC and The American Heart Association. The group was awarded a recording contract with Music World Gospel as a result. Their new single, “You Are God” is a majestic declaration of God’s love and care for the world. The song is not only an assertion of the love of God but also a call to service for all to reach those that God cares immensely about. You Are God is the impetus behind the adjoining service campaign kicking off on the same day – the “BE LIKE G.O.D.” campaign with GOD being an acronym for Giving to Others Daily.

Singer/songwriter Brandon Camphor says the message behind the song is to create “an urgency to care about people’s needs among the body of Christ.” Camphor says “I have the desire to be like Christ and Christ cares about every person in this world – He cares about our deepest desires, our needs, and though He is sovereign and attending to the needs of all – He still cares about me.” You Are God took on an even deeper meaning as Brandon Camphor & One Way prepared for a missions trip to Ethiopia. The group learned of the need for new water valves to be built in the country of Ethiopia. The deep need for something we take for granted, pulled on the heartstrings of the group and birthed an insistent desire to give back. Soon after, the BE LIKE G.O.D. campaign was developed as a tangible way to engage One Way supporters both nationally and internationally to be like God by giving daily to others and serving “the least of these” as the bible commands in Matthew 25.
