John DyePage Tools BiographyBorn and raised in Amory, Mississippi (near Tupelo) and graduated from Tupelo High School, John Dye is best known for his role as "Andrew, the Angel of Death" on Touched By An Angel. John received "Best Actor" awards from Mississippi State before transferring his sophomore year to the University of Memphis (known then as Memphis State University). He landed his first film role in "Makin' The Grade" in 1984 while still attending Memphis State.
