Taryn Manning



Biography

Taryn Manning is more than a triple threat in the entertainment industry. A love for music helped inspire her solo career, two albums with her band Boomkat, and a solid and thriving DJ career. Manning earned her first major acting role in Crazy/Beautiful, which lead to roles in Hawaii Five-O, 8 Mile, Hustle & Flow, Sons of Anarchy, and Love Ranch to name a few. In 2008, Manning completed work on the independent features Your Name Here, written and directed by Matt Wilder opposite Bill Pullman, The Speed of Thought opposite Nick Stahl, and Waking Madison, opposite Sara Roemer and Elisabeth Shue. Previously, Manning also starred in the film Weirdsville opposite Wes Bentley and Scott Speedman. Other feature film credits include: 8 Mile, A Lot Like Love, Crossroads, Crazy/Beautiful, Cold Mountain, Dandelion, The Breed, Kill Theory, When Nines Roll, and White Oleander.
