Dr. Bobby Jones Kicks Off Black History Month with Gospel Music ChannelPremiere Of All-Star Church Sing-Along Faith Unscripted: Bobby Jones Sat. Feb. 2 At 9:00 PM ET

ATLANTA, GA. – January 31, 2008 – The "Ambassador of Gospel Music" makes his Gospel Music Channel performance debut with the GMC premiere of Faith Unscripted: Bobby Jones, on Saturday Feb. 2 at 9:00 p.m. (ET) kicking-offGMC's Black History Month celebration.

One of the most influential figures within the annals of modern gospel music, Dr. Bobby Jones has been contributing to gospel music history for more than 30 years, making his own music and introducing new gospel artists to the world. For Faith Unscripted, Jones gathered some of gospel's biggest names for an hour of heartfelt and authentic gospel singing.

Backed by Jones' long-time Nashville Super Choir, The Good Doctor is joined by Tye Tribbett, Karen Clark Sheard, Micah Stampley, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and other top Gospel artists for one of the most luminary-filled, 60 person gospel choirs ever brought together. Among the evening's highlights are:

•Karen Clark-Sheard lending lead vocals to the Clark Sisters' classic "You Brought the Sunshine."
•Tye Tribbett leading the Nashville Super Choir and the rest of the gospel artists on his powerful "Victory."
•Vanessa Bell Armstrong shines on the James Cleveland favorite "Peace Be Still."
•Micah Stampley leads the group on a powerful rendition of "Oh How I Love Jesus."
•Free Spirit's Lynn Jones brings new life to "Amazing Grace."
•Jones himself, along with Armstrong, Stampley, and Sheard make joyful sounds with "I'm a Soldier in the Army of the Lord" and "Call Him Up."
•Other guest vocalists featured during Faith Unscripted include Judith Christie McAllister, Joe Ligon, Darrel Petties, Darlene McCoy, Chris Bolton, and Lynn Brown.
