The new-look GMC VOD service will feature revamped category titles and a streamlined and more intuitive navigational process for viewers. GMC's VOD offer generated 300,000 views per month with current availability in 16 million homes. GMC VOD usage recorded year-to-year growth of 126% from the time of its launch in the fourth quarter of 2006, and more recently turned in 22% growth from the third to the fourth quarter of 2007. "GMC VOD usage ranks in the top third of all VOD views wherever it's offered," commented Genia Edelman, senior vice president, national distribution, GMC. "This high-level of usage by consumers without direct promotion reinforces the very strong demand for Gospel/Christian music across all platforms nationally." GMC's new VOD content listings will feature five categories: In Concert (live performances), Faith & Fame (full episodes and highlights from GMC's original biography series), Videos (top music videos), Highlights (clips from GMC original series and specials) and Espiritu (Spanish language videos and clips from the network's Espiritu Latino series.) Jerry Williams, GMC's director of programming, scheduling & acquisitions, said, "These enhancements will make our VOD offering even more user-friendly. We are providing content by category rather than by music genre and exposing users to a larger more diverse musical genre." About Gospel Music Channel ###
