It’s that time of year again – time to dust off those book bags, finish all that summer reading and take one last dip in the pool. As students of all ages head back to school, we’ve compiled a list of supplies to get the year started off in style. Check out this list of books, music, apps, school supplies and more to jumpstart your creativity, help you study and keep you spiritually fit this fall.

The Boy, The Kite and The Wind by Al Andrews
Porter’s Call founder Al Andrews releases his first children’s book in late August with 100 percent of the proceeds going to charitable organizations that primarily help children in need. These nonprofits provide for a number of causes including orphan care, clean drinking water, education and medical care.

iShine Bible
The new iShine Bible will help kids see their value and worth in Christ. QR codes and links within the pages of the Bible provide additional online content. The clear New Living Translation is easy to understand and perfect for young readers. Versions are available for both boys and girls, and every order comes with a free CD from kid-friendly groups Mission Six or The Rubyz.

One Song at a Time, Jamie Grace
Kids are loving singing along to Jamie Grace’s debut single, “Hold Me,” on the radio. Jamie already has the stamp of approval from her pal TobyMac, so chances are her full album, One Song at a Time (Gotee, releasing September 20), is guaranteed to be one kids will enjoy.
