gmc is proud to team up with Verizon Wireless to showcase the sweet sounds of gospel music from across the nation.

Church choirs from across the country have been working hard to get to the How Sweet the Sound Finale and gmc captured their triumphs, preparation and struggles leading up to the event.  Join gmc and host Michelle Williams, gospel artist and former Destiny Child member, for a two hour Road to How Sweet the Sound behind the scenes special.  The final moments will reveal which choirs are going to Los Angeles to compete for the title of Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound Choir of 2011. The winner will be chosen by Traditional Gospel greats Shirley Caesar, Marvin Sapp and Contemporary Christian artist Israel Houghton.
