The Premise: Blu is a domesticated macaw from Minnesota, and Jewel is a fiercely independent free bird en route to Rio de Janeiro. And when these two birds meet cute, there’s certainly no tearing them apart in this family friendly adventure tale.
The Verdict: The colors are bright (just like spring) is the story is a winning one, thanks to hefty doses of humor and likeable characters (lead, supporting and otherwise).
